Chillpak Hollywood Hour #124

Dean and Phil give a brief report on an event they attended.  The event was Project Camelot’s Awake and Aware conference designed to “get the truth out” about a variety of topics, most of which are conspiracy-related and many of which involve extraterrestrials.  Their report is brief because a future installment of YOUR Chillpak Hollywood Hour will consist of excerpts from interviews Dean and Phil conducted at the event.  This week’s show mostly focuses on the glorious tradition of actors who become producers, dating back to Chaplin, Pickford and Fairbanks and their United Artists.  From Burt Lancaster in the ’50’s to Dean Haglund today, Dean and Phil converse about why so many actors make this move and they invite Actor-turned-director-turned-producer Stephen Furst to join the discussion.

You may know Stephen from his starring roles in such comedic blockbusters as Animal House and The Dream Team.  You may know him from his starring roles on the hit television series St. Elsewhere and Babylon 5. If you’re a fan of science-fiction television, you might know him as the director of the TV Movies Dragon Storm, Path of Destruction and Basilisk: The Serpent King. Or perhaps you know him as the producer of this summer’s box office hit My Sister’s Keeper.

The point is, you SHOULD know him, and even if you don’t, he’s a funny, forthright man and you won’t want to miss his two part interview with your friends in podcasting, Dean Haglund and Phil Leirness!
