Chillpak Hollywood Hour #206

The countdown to London is on! Tickets are still available for the World Premiere of The Truth Is Out There at London’s British Film Institute. Obviously, that screening is very much on the minds of Dean Haglund and Phil Leirness. Still, they take the time to discuss painting, books, music and even the sexual assault awareness event Denim Day on this week’s installment of YOUR Chillpak Hollywood Hour.

  • Linda:

Ol’ Man River was played at my dad’s funeral. I chose it, it’s beautiful.

  • Phil:

THOR(2011) has 95% on Rotten Tomatoes… good ‘god’ I need some thorazine.

Thorazine has also been used by some LSD users to reduce the effects of a so-called “bad trip” (sustained nightmarish hallucinations). This use was noted by Albert Hofmann in his book LSD, My Problem Child: “The mental effects of Delysid can be rapidly reversed by the i.m. administration of 50 mg chlorpromazine.”

About the show
Dean Haglund, the actor, improv comic and inventor (best known as “Langly,” one of the three computer-hacking geeks on “The X-Files” and their spin-off series “The Lone Gunmen”) engages in thought-provoking, insightful, and irreverent cultural conversation with his co-host and producing partner, independent filmmaker and certified violence prevention specialist Phil Leirness in the production offices of Rational Exuberance. Warning: Dean and Phil's usually hilarious and frequently inspiring discussions are habit-forming, so please, enjoy responsibly!
