Nobody read TinTin? Everybody knows TinTin here Dean. It’s very popular. We cal him Kuifje. TinTin is a journalist and the Dutch name for the dog is Bobby, lol.

  • Phil:

Wasn’t TinTin written by a nazi sympathizer?

  • Linda:

I have no idea really. Doesn´t make it less popular though. Here that is. But I have to find it out, I really have no idea.

  • Linda:

I did find something about him but it doesn’t really say he was a nazi sympathizer. I think our (still) biggest national newspaper was a lot worse, to be honest.

  • Linda:

My mom did know about it, I asked her. But she immediately said Hergé wasn’t the only one, there were many. Another famous writer was Simenon, he wrote all the Maigret books.
