Chillpak Hollywood Hour #193

Hilarious and informative, show and business, Dean Haglund and Phil Leirness, it’s YOUR Chillpak Hollywood Hour. The future of the internet, the future of freedom of speech, the future of movies, the future of Dean Haglund as a new American citizen are all discussed. Phil discusses the past, focusing on his fascination with dreams and the dream language of films, as well as on several remakes of classic films in the development stage, as well as some cinematic “lost” treasures that might be coming to a screen near you. Something that WILL be coming to a screen near you is The Truth Is Out There, which has a sneak preview screening on Saturday 26 February in San Leandro, California as part of UFO X Fest. Trust us when we tell you that this week’s show is chock full of goodness. And the next two shows are already planned and promise to delight. Changes are afoot, however, so if you wish to keep enjoying YOUR Chillpak Hollywood Hour without interruption, please make sure to drop us a line at chillpakhollywood@yahoo.com and in case there’s complications, we’ll keep you directly informed!

Chillpak Hollywood Hour #188

Chris Mancini is a stand-up comic, filmmaker and author, who was the guest on Chillpak Hollywood Hour #103 when he discussed his just-published book Pacify Me: A Handbook for the Freaked-Out New Dad with Dean Haglund. Now, he’s back to discuss how the book was received (both commercially and critically), the state of (and future of) publishing, as well as of stand-up comedy, short filmmaking, and CHH “sister” podcast “Comedy Film Nerds”. This week’s installment of YOUR Chillpak Hollywood Hour will definitely put the “happy” in Happy Holidays!

About the show
Dean Haglund, the actor, improv comic and inventor (best known as “Langly,” one of the three computer-hacking geeks on “The X-Files” and their spin-off series “The Lone Gunmen”) engages in thought-provoking, insightful, and irreverent cultural conversation with his co-host and producing partner, independent filmmaker and certified violence prevention specialist Phil Leirness in the production offices of Rational Exuberance. Warning: Dean and Phil's usually hilarious and frequently inspiring discussions are habit-forming, so please, enjoy responsibly!
